Jeep has already showcased its Renegade at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and now, the brand has given a confirmation that the SUV will take its market entry in the Indian market in 2017. Fiat and Chrysler are likely to build this vehicle on the basis of latest Small Wide Platform with typical Jeep styling pattern, including a distinctive grille, circular headlights as well as minimum curves on the side panels. It also gets a black body cladding, squared-off taillights and pronounced wheel arches to increase the beauty of this most awaited SUV car.
Inside the cabin, the upcoming Renegade receives transcendent features to bestow superb convenience and comfort for its occupants as well as for driver alongside a multifunctional steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and many other comfy parts. It has the length of 4.25 meters and would give big competition to various runabouts that comes under SUV segment, such as forthcoming Maruti S-Cross, Renault Duster and Mahindra Scorpio.
Its mechanical terms are yet to be revealed, but the Renegade is expected to be powered by a powerful engine to produce an impassioned output for the owner and is anticipated to be priced around INR 10 Lacs in the country. Overall details will get disclosed after making an Indian demonstration next year, along with the models of Wrangler and Cherokee.
