Kawasaki adds one more off-road bike in its portfolio, named as the KLX 140G. The bike has been launched in the country and kept between the KLX110 mini-bike and the two-stroke KX100F with a price tag of Rs 3.91 lakh(ex-showroom).
The new offering by the company is equipped with all of the specifications, which makes it fully compatible for off-road adventures. The bike features minimal bodywork, raised exhaust, tall suspension, high ground clearance and spoke wheel with off-road tyres. Its ergonomics and narrow profile are designed to offer the rider, a comfortable ride even on the harshest of terrains.
Based on a single steel perimeter frame, the KLX110 is powered by a 144cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine, which delivers the power to rear wheel with the help of a five-speed transmission unit. Riding on the 18-inch rear and 21-inch front wheel along with a fully-adjustable rear monoshock and 33mm front forks it also comes with 220mm disc brake at the front and a 190mm at the rear for advanced safety measures.
As we can see, it is a dirt bike and lacks mirrors, headlamp and turn indicators, which makes it illegal on-road. The motorcycle currently doesn’t have any competition in the country but, you cannot ride it on public roads. Along with a price tag of Rs 3.91 lakh, it comes as a completely-built-up (CBU) unit straight from Thailand.
