Becoming the first manufacturer to bring products directly from the 2016 Intermot, Kawasaki has once again shown its genuine love for the Indian audience. The Japanese two-wheeler colossal has launched its Ninja range of motorcycles, which counts for the new supercharged H2 and H2R. Both the maniacs are set to be astronomically priced at INR 33.30 lakh and INR 69.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. As if this wasn’t good enough to get over, the company’s Limited Edition H2 Carbon is on the ground as well.
This spontaneous decision has been taken after the unceremonial cessation of Kawasaki’s Mumbai dealership, which was involved in controversies earlier. H2R is the first offering by the company in India getting the same signature green paint. Other than this, it also benefits from Kawasaki’s most advanced electronics package having IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), revamped KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Braking System).
H2, more or less same as the H2R, packs all the aforementioned stuff along with a restructured exhaust system, clutchless downshifts, updated instrument console, an updated boost indicator, an IMU indicator, Kawasaki Genuine Accessories, and Ohlins TTX rear shock. Makes a whooping power by a 998cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine, it generates 207 BHP with 133.5NM of torque. H2R, in particular, gets the same mill, however, produces 321 BHP along with 165NM of torque.

Coming over to the Carbon H2 variant, the model is limited to just 120 units and you are required to shell out INR 39.80 lakh for the same. To distinguish it from the H2, the automaker has given a silver-mirror paint to feature a matte element. All the bikes have been updated with the 6-axis IMU, which measures a lean angle in real time and accounts for your maximum lean angle for future context.
