Kawasaki New Planning: Ninja R2 Name Trademarked in Europe

The European market again buzzed with a new rumor-land stating that Kawasaki is running ahead for a new trademark with the name "Ninja R2". If we talk about the Team Green of Europe, then they are already provided with two  250-class superbikes along with a new single cylinder entrant in their family, introduced at EICMA, held last year. The news has not been confirmed yet, but it is a possibility that the company is planning to introduce few beginner bikes in the European market.

Ninja H2R

Talking about the mindset of Kawasaki, then we can expect many more sports bikes from their end as they are working their homework in order to avail 200hp Ninja H2 and 310hp Ninja H2R also in the motorbike field, where N2 is expected to be supplemented with a supercharged engine; or even a turbocharged engine. Initially, the company was saying that they are developing the supercharged technology for H2R, but it can be later used in future machines.

Now, coming out of the European market, the rumors also says that the company has trademarked this sports machine's name in, Japan and U.S.A too. Apart from this, the company has also trademarked Ninja R2-R, Ninja E2, Ninja E2-R, Ninja S2 and Ninja S2-R in Japan.

If Kawasaki is running on the same track, then we can even assume a 600cc supercharged motorbike in the coming 2-3 years or even a medium class bike with the same feel. But, at the end, before finding any complete confirmation from the manufacturer's end, we all have to maintain patience and wait for the happenings.
