Kawasaki India has silently launched a new edition of its one of the most popular sport bikes Ninja 300 in India. Previously, we had also witnessed an anniversary version of the same back in November 2015. With information available, the fresh KRT unit has been tagged at the same price as of the 2015 unit i.e. INR 3.61 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Mumbai).
On the aesthetic front, the Ninja 300 KRT is wearing black and green livery. Besides, stickers of KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team) will also get to see near the fuel cap and at lower part of the fairing. The paint scheme has been inspired from Kawasaki’s racing team in the World Superbike Championship.
As far as the powertrain is concerned, Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT edition come attached with the same 296cc displacement, parallel twin, liquid cooled engine that underpins the regular one. Coupled with a six-speed transmission box, the motor is capable of running the bike with a maximum power of 38.5 bhp at 11,000 rpm and a torque of 27 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The braking duties will be taken care of by 290 mm disc brake up front and 220 mm disc brake at the rear.
