With the introduction of Kawasaki Ninja 400, the Green giant has discontinued the Ninja 300 model in several international markets. As it is obviously a better offering in every aspect of weight, design, and provided features. However, its popularity and budget-friendly price sticker kept the model continue on sale alongside the Ninja 400.The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is on sale at the price tag of INR 3.6 lakh ex-showroom. Whereas, the Ninja 400 attracts the pricing of INR 4.7 lakhs.
From the sources, it has been known that why the Kawasaki India keeps on continuing with the Ninja 300. Actually, the parts which are used in the said model are sourced from Thailand which along with the levy import duty makes the price tag high. Now, as the reports are doing rounds on the internet, the integrated cycle parts on N300 will be sourced locally.

Once the cycle parts’ production initiated by the local vendors, not only the motorcycle’s price but also the spares price will also be reduced by a big margin. As per an estimate, the Ninja 300 will be cheaper around INR 2.5 to INR 2.7 lakhs. Post-reduction, the revised price tag could help the manufacturer in generating volume.
If we compare the Ninja 300 with the lately launched Ninja 400. The N400 is definitely an improved iteration. It is based on a steel trellis frame which makes it around 6kgs lighter than the Ninja 300. Altogether, it makes riding more fun. The wheelbase on the Ninja 400 is short and swingarm is comparatively longer than the Ninja 300. The fairing work is also appreciable along with on features.
