Apparently, India’s top-notch sports bike, Kawasaki Ninja 650’s sales have been increased near about 800 percent last month on the ground of a substantial price cut. The Indian arm of the Japanese brand has managed to retail 54 motorcycles in August as against barely six in the same period last year.
The numbers are straight nine times more than what achieved in August 2015. This immense hop witnessed last month is not because the Ninja aficionados have started loving the bike more over its price, it’s because the Japanese manufacturer has cut down the price of the bike to a good extent last month. Reportedly, the previous price tag of Rs. 5.37 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) has been reduced to Rs. 4.97 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) providing a slash by Rs. 40,000.
When it comes to the on road pricing, the numbers are more tempting as compared to the ex-showroom prices. As the registration charges and insurance get reduced, the bike becomes more budget-friendly. It is to be that the 2015 models were under consideration for the 40,000 discount scheme.
