Reportedly, it has learnt that Kawasaki is planning to start local assembly of its track-focused litre-class superbike, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R soon. If it happens, it will bring the pricing of the bike drastically down around INR 5 lakhs. Currently available at the price sticker of INR 18.8 lakhs (ex-showroom, India), the Ninja ZX-10R will cost you around INR 14 lakhs (ex-showroom), post revision.
The expected price tag of INR 14 lakhs, could put the motorcycle in front as the most affordable 1000cc offering in the country. As of now, the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade holds this title. Here in India, the Ninja ZX-10R will be assembled at the brand’s Chakan based facility. The vehicle that will be shipped on Indian shores via the semi-knocked-down route from Japan will mark their presence sometimes by June 2018.
