Do you remember the 1984 Ninja 900 or GPZ 900R? Yes, that's exactly what you are thinking about, the first and flagship model of Ninja Series. The highly esteemed and legendary bike in its own way, which started the era of super bikes all over the world. The Ninja 900 is the first fully-faired motorcycle by the Japanese automobile maker, which took a pretty long duration of 6 years to get manufactured. The motorcycle was featuring the world's first 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled inline engine with an engine displacement of 908cc. And, above all these special features, this was the first bike which is having a maximum speed limit of 240 KMPH.
Now, to celebrate the completion of 30 years of this flagship Ninja series, the company will be going to introduce a new member to this series, the Kawasaki ZX-14R, a special 30th Anniversary edition. And, above all, the most important thing which makes this bike special is that the company will manufacture only 300 units of ZX-14R. These 300 units of Ninja will be carrying a unique numbered badge and an anniversary logo on both sides of the fuel tank.
The Ninja ZX-14R will not be receiving any mechanical changes; it is featuring a refurbished cockpit. The bike will be wearing the same prime color scheme livery of the Firecracker Red and Metallic Graystone, conserving the same classy Gold Pine-stripes on the motorcycle. The Anniversary edition of Kawasaki ZX-14R will be available for sale only in the United States and Latin America, and 30 units of this special edition will get manufactured in Canada.
To celebrate the company's success in the 2013 World Superbike Championship, the Japanese manufacturer also released the Anniversary editions of the Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R. Both these bikes will be featuring the same color scheme of the Ninja series.
