Kawasaki Slopped Down the Versys 1000 and Versys 650 over the Enduro Ground

The latest from the Intermot has announced the unveiling of Versys series motorbikes in the enduro motorbike category. The looks and appearance of the bikes have been completely revamped for the next year’s launch. The new bikes are housing a sports inspired fairing, which beams out the light from the double barrel housing. The bike now looks more robust and appealing than the earlier one which has now started cropped up. The 2015 models of both the bikes have got a reengineered structure to deal with the scenario in a much better manner.

The new generation bikes stands straight over the 17 inch alloy wheels wearing tyre sizes of varied dimensions. The Versys 1000 wears Bridgestone T30 sport touring tyres while the 650 variant 120/70ZR17 size at the front and 160/60ZR17 size at the rear.  Versys 1000 runs on a 1043cc engine which develops 120PS of power at 9000RPM. The torque at the max reaches the value of 75 ftlb. The 1000 has received attention over the suspension system and the long travel units will be playing the duities now. The chassis of the alleged bike is reengineered for more sustainability and rigidness to hold more luggages at the rear. To serve this purpose, a new ‘one-key’ clean-mount pannier system is also placed on the job for easy handling of the luggage.

While the Versys 1000 has received a lot for the refinement in the overall output of the bike, the Versys 650 is also having great things for the 2015 launch. Besides holding double barrel headlight like any other sports bike, it also has LED tail lamps. The suspension system in this bike has also been reworked for refinement. The new units are 41mm with separate function for each bar. The Adjusters are now mounted on the top position for easy access and adjustments. The engine outputs better efficiency with tuned settings in the cylinders. Developing 69PS of power at 8500RPM, the torque output comes to be 47.2 lbft. The brakes are more powerful than before with the new pads and larger discs. The luggage holding capacity of this bike is also treated with the same ‘one-key’ clean-mount pannier system for easy loading and sustaining power.
