Kawasaki Unveils Ninja 250 SL, Z250 SL and Ninja 250 ABS at Tokyo Motor Show

Kawasaki has showcased its new performance-oriented motorcycles at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show. The Z250 SL, Ninja 250 SL and Ninja 250 ABS are most anticipated motorcycles of Kawasaki that seem busy in grabbing the attention of the audience at the ongoing event. Moreover, both, the Z250 SL and Ninja 250 SL are the naked and fully faired street-fighter respectively that are featured with the same single cylinder motor.

The Ninja 250 ABS is a fully faired motorcycle which is featured with two cylinder and liquid-cooled motor. The 250cc and fuel injected motor is capable of offering 32 PS of power at 11,000 RPM and 21 Nm of torque at 10,000 RPM. The motor is coupled with a slipper clutch and a six-speed transmission.

The Z250 SL and Ninja 250 SL are powered by the same 249cc liquid-cooled and fuel injection motor that return 28 PS of power and 22.6 Nm of torque, the engine of the both models is mated to a six-speed transmission. Both the models have 11-litre fuel tank and also same in length, but the Ninja 250 SL is narrower than the Z250 SL.

Being a fully faired motorcycle, the Ninja 250 SL has received clips on the handlebar that makes riding position upright and sportier, while the naked motorcycle gets a single piece handle for an easy maneuverability. Both the naked and fully-faired motorcycle come loaded with the same mechanical features that include front telescopic suspension, trellis frame and rear mono shock suspension.
