As the Japanese performance motorcycle maker, Kawasaki hinted last year, that four of its bikes will be painted in a new color scheme, seems started to comes true. The news around the corner is Kawasaki Versys 1000 got painted in a new metallic titanium shade as an update for year 2016 and introduced alongside with the already available Versys 1000 in black paint scheme with no more additional charges.
Visually, the adventure tourer looks mesmerizing with the amalgamation of metallic titanium shade, on the bikini fairing and the rest completely blacked out components of the motorcycle. Blessed with the newly designed chassis, advanced technology's front and rear suspension and a more comfortable seat, the tourer Versys 1000 boasts the same 1043cc, Inline-four, 16 valves and four stroke engine unit which belts out the max power of 118.3 Bhp and peak torque of 102 Nm. The whole engine setup is coupled to a six speed transmission. On the braking end, responsibility effectively done by the Dual 310mm disc with four-piston caliper at the front wheel while, single 250mm disc with single piston caliper at the rear wheel. And the complete braking setup is incorporated with the Anti-Lock Braking System to resist the glide of the bike on braking at high speed.
With the updation of Kawasaki Versys 1000 in paint scheme, it seems like Kawasaki updating its product portfolio not only in India but also globally too, to provide a range of variety for its performance bike lovers. As Kawasaki launched a special edition of Ninja 300, last year, with a newly race livery paint scheme and ABS safety feature at the same price tag of Rs 3.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) of the continuous model of Ninja 300.
And now Kawasaki launches Z250 with ABS in Indonesia last month of this year. The only ABS variant of Z250 was available in its native country and now Indonesia become the second one to have Kawasaki Z250 ABS. It’s really increasing the expectations high in the motoring aficionados, from the automaker globally, that’s what will be the next sensation.
