Kawasaki is silently working on the new motorcycle that might be featured with 200cc engine displacement. The company will position the motorcycle in the sportbike segment and the project has been Codename K210 but the technical details of the quarter liter-motorcycle have not been released yet. It is expected that the motorcycle will be featured with a four-cylinder engine instead of one. The 200cc project seems to be in the early stage of the development and has received moniker of the Ninja. The K210 will be the fifth motorcycle of the Kawasaki under the 250cc segment. The Ninja 250SL and Ninja Z250SL are the single-cylinder motorcycles available in the market, whereas Ninja 250 and Z250 are the twin-cylinder motorcycles also available in the market.
Eventually, we need to wait for the official confirmation coming in our way from the manufacturer that whether the K210 will be joining the Ninja Series or Z-Series of sport motorcycles; or it could employ a completely new series itself. The K210 looks very similar with its Kawasaki J-concept that was first seen at Tokyo Motor Show in 2013 and after that made its appearance in Intermot Show that was held last year in Cologne, Germany.
As per report, the motorcycle will be revealed in the second half of 2015, but no updates yet of K210 come to India. Last year, there were rumors that Kawasaki building a four-cylinder Ninja for the limited markets that is in the cards of quarter-liter segment.
