Kawasaki Z250SL and Ninja 250SL Making Debut at EICMA, 2014

The Japanese two-wheeler maker has recently showcased their all new quarter-liter sports motorcycles in the continuing motorcycle exhibition, EICMA. The motorcycle event is going on in Milan, Italy, which continues till 9th November, 2014. The Kawasaki has covered its stage with a naked and faired sports motorcycle, Kawasaki Z250SL and Kawasaki Ninja 250SL. The Ninja 250SL can be said as a faired version of the Z250SL. The quarter-liter sports motorcycle from the Z Series makes its appearance in a whole shiny black colored livery and the faired sports motorcycle can be seen in the company's patent green envy color.

Technically, the Kawasaki Z250SL and Kawasaki Ninja 250SL will be featuring the very same technical specifications. Both, the naked and faired sports motorcycles are powered by the identical liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine having an engine displacement of 249cc. The fuel-injected engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The 249cc displacement engine is tuned to achieve a maximum power of 27.6BHP @ 9,700RPM and a peak torque of 22.6Nm @ 8,200RPM.

The Z250SL and Ninja 250SL, both the sports motorcycles are built around a diamond tube frame and weighs 148kg and 151kg, respectively. The riding quality of the motorcycles has been enhanced by introducing telescopic front forks and Uni-Trak adjustable spring preload damper at the rear. The stopping power is catered by dual-piston caliper with single disc brakes at the front and rear, both. They both have carried same fuel tank capacity of 11 liters.

The Kawasaki Z250SL and Kawasaki Ninja 250SL, both the sports motorcycles are priced around £4,000. Alongside to these quarter-liter class motorcycles, the firm has also introduced the Kawasaki Z300 at the Milan Motorcycle Show, Italy.
