Kawasaki Z900RS Details Teased Before Launching

Kawasaki, the Japanese Motorcycle manufacturer, teased Z900RS ahead of launching and the users are waiting enthusiastically for the bike. It is expected that the Team Green will launch this bike on 25th October at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. Most of its specifications are similar to a standard Z900.

Kawasaki Z900RS is a lesser version of Z900S. It will be powered by a 948cc inline four, four- stroke and liquid- cooled engine. It is expected that the engine will churn out a maximum power of 123bhp at the rate of 9500rpm, whereas torque of 98.6 Nm at the rate of 8500 rpm. If Japanese Motorcycle Manufacturer launched this Z900RS, it will compete with modern classic models such as Triumph Bonneville T120. The RS is likely to come up with different transmission duties

The Z900RS will show up with a comfortable riding position and wheelbase at 1470mm, a 20mm larger than the Z900. The length of the bike has enhanced from 2065mm to 2100mm, due to its new tail design. Kawasaki Z900RS also comes up with wider and taller handlebars enhancing both the width as well as the height of the bike. The bike gets 5kg heavier along with a 215 kerb weight. With the launch, the modern classic model of Z900RS will compete with Triumph’s Street Twin, Yamaha XSR900, and Bonneville T100. The bike will be available for sale in India from 2018.
