2014 was been a great year for the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, Kawasaki. The firm has introduced various updated products under the Ninja series of motorcycles. The major reason for this jubilation is that the Kawasaki Ninja series is celebrating its 30th Anniversary. On this occasion, the various Ninja models are being upgraded with special edition variants carrying a 30th Anniversary badge and attractive new colors, leaving behind the much owned and inherited green color. The Ninja models such as Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R are top most models blessed with the special treatment on the 30th Anniversary.
Now, after selling 5 units of newly introduced Kawasaki Ninja H2, the firm has launched the 30th Anniversary special edition Kawasaki ZX-10R in India. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is powered by an in-line four-cylinder, 4-stroke motor configuration carrying an engine displacement of 998cc. The liquid-cooled, DOHC engine coupled to a 6-speed transmission and is tuned to belt out a churning power of 200PS @ 13,000 RPM and a peak torque of 112Nm @ 11,500 revs. The gorgeous fully-faired sports motorcycle was built around a twin-spar cast aluminum frame having a kerb weight of 201 kg.

Talking about the additional equipments, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is featuring spring preload adjustable front forks and horizontal backlink with gas-charged at the rear. The braking duties have been taken care by dual radial-mount, dual semi-floating caliper disc brake at the front and single petal disc brake at the rear. Apart from these, the firm has installed Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC) and Kawasaki Intelligent ABS. The Kawasaki ZX-10R will bring down over the Indian land via the CBU route and is available carrying a price tag of Rs 15.90 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Pune).
