Kia Motors, South Korea- based automobile manufacturing company has successfully opened its first showroom in India which is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Kia new showroom would serve both before-sales and after-sales services.
The SP2i will be the first SUV from Kia that would hit on the roads of the Indian market. The Kia SP2i SUV is likely to be unveiled in India in the second half of 2019. The mid- SUV from Kia would be equipped with power- packed engine and world-class quality.
Currently, Kia Motors don’t have any cars for sale in India now, though the company has displayed the Rio hatchback and the Stinger GT sedan in its new showroom.
The Rio is a premium hatchback that could compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20 if it is launched in India. On the other hand, the Stinger GT is a sports sedan that could face stiff competition with rivals such as BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Volvo S90 in international markets. If the Kia launches the Stinger GT in India it could be offered via the CBU route. It would be promoted as the company’s flagship car.
Kia ’s first showroom has been inaugurated by Mr. Kookhyun Shim, MD and CEO of Kia Motors in Noida, (Uttar Pradesh) India. It is the first key step that is taken by the South- Korean automobile manufacturing company to enlarge its presence across India. The showroom gets world-class facility such as state of the art lounge, dedicated consulting areas, cafeteria for customers while a unique car delivery area to add-on the experience of the customer. To meet the customer\'s requirement after-sales service facility would also be provided in the Kia new showroom in Delhi.
Mr. Manohar Bhat, Head of Sales and Marketing, Kia Motors India said in a press statement while addressing at the occasion, “We are happy to reflect quality and speed in everything that we do and hence we already have our first showroom in India ready, much before we start selling our products. This is an important milestone for Kia Motors India as it marks the customer-focused physical presence of the brand in the country. The facility has the perfect mix of style, function and form and is in line with Kia’s new global standards. The showroom has spread in 12,000 sq.ft. area. It is developed on Kia’s ‘Red Cube’ concept to promote the trustworthiness among customers and to mark out the dealerships which are doubtful and repetitive.

It is equipped with a dedicated 6000 sq. ft. which is specifically for the sales and display area to cater to the different need of the customers.
Also, the customers will be given unique services after sales adding a new paradigm to the ownership.
