Kia Seltos SUV which has lately been launched in the country has silently been updated its variant line with the introduction of two new top-spec variants. These variants are new GTX+ petrol and a diesel trim of the same. However, the respective 1.4-litre and 1.5-litre displacement trims are only being offered with respective automatic gearbox options, i.e. a 7-speed DCT unit and a six-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The pricing for both the models kept similar at INR 16.99 lakh ex-showroom, pan-India.
As compared to earlier provided top-spec variants of GTX petrol DCT and HTX+ AT variants at INR 15.99 lakhs, the newly launched models in question attracts a premium of INR 1 lakh which turns into INR 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The information of the arrival of these new top-spec variants was already online from the dealer sources at KIA motors before the official launch of the SUV.

For the Indian lineup, Kia Seltos is classified into two major trim lines-the HT-line and the GT-line. The former offers a conventional range of SUVs while the latter is a sportier offering with fitments such as red accents on the exterior, distinct alloy wheel setup, an all-black interior setup with contrast red stitching to name a few.
The GT-line which is a premium range of Seltos offering comes featured with attributes like six airbags, rain-sensing wipers and an 8.0-inch head-up display as standard. While the GTX+ variants which are the top-spec models of the GT-line range are blessed with features such as sunroof, ventilated front seats, Bose sound system, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and leatherette seats as standard.
The dealers of the Kia Motors has started accepting bookings for these newly introduced GTX+ petrol auto and diesel auto while the deliveries for the same are expected to begin sometime early next month.
