KTM 125 Duke has recently become the highest selling model in the KTM brand lineup by surpassing the very popular KTM Duke 200 model. As per the sales data, a total of 3069 units of KTM 125 Duke bike has been sold in March 2019, which is also 1000 units more than the KTM 200 Duke.
KTM 125 Duke comes with a long list of segment-first features along with the powerful 124.7cc engine that that made it the most desirable 125cc sports bike in India. However, the sport bike is facing the toughest competition from Yamaha MT-15 bike in terms of overall sales. Yamaha sold more than 5000 units of MT-15 last month with a staggering price tag of INR 1.36 lakh. The premium feel of both the sports bikes is driving the people crazy in India. However, KTM 125 Duke certainly stands apart by offering better quality tyres, USD front forks, and handling enhancing equipements. Yamaha, on the other hand, is offering a better console and lighting system.
The area where KTM 125 Duke completely shines and outperforms its rivals is bike performance. KTM 125 Duke comes with a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 14.5hp; hence take down the majority of the 150cc bikes with superior power. Talking about price, KTM 125 Duke cost twice in comparison to other average top-spec 125cc bikes in its segment.

The bike also comes with a 150-section rear tyre with an orange finish on alloy wheels whereas other motorcycles in the 125cc segment struggle to integrate even 80-section tyres at both ends. Recently, KTM 125 Duke has also received a price boost of around INR 7000 and now comes with a price tag of INR 1.25 lakh.
