Just a few days back, the KTM Duke 390 has been the one who is rumored to receive some cosmetic and technical upgrades. Later, we got a confirmation as we have seen the updated naked sports motorcycle making its appearance at a dealership in Pune. Well, after the elder brother, here comes an update for the younger sibling of the Duke series of naked sports motorcycle, i.e. the KTM Duke 200. Talking about the updates received by the KTM Duke 390, it is blessed with an all new slipper clutch, handle grips and some other updates taken from the full-faired cousin sibling KTM RC 390.
However, there is no official confirmation regarding the updates of the KTM Duke 200 for the 2015 model. Although, it is likely to be having sealed blinkers protecting from water outflow, re-designed front and rear fenders offering better riding quality, broad mud-cover; which is probably being taken from the RC 200. The rear shock absorber will also be featuring a cover, protecting it from the dust particles. The oil leakage sealed bearings and better heat dissipation will be added to the updated 2015 model of KTM Duke 200. The belly mounts would also be expected to go through a minor update.
Mechanically, the KTM Duke 200 is built around a powder-coated tubular space steel frame carrying an engine displacement of 199.5cc. The single-cylinder, 4-stroke, fuel-injected engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and is capable to fetch out a churning power of 25 BHP and achieves a peak torque of 19.2 Nm. The company would probably be offering longer service interval as compared to the previous model.
Eventually, we will be waiting for the official announcement by the firm regarding the updates of the 2015 KTM Duke 200. To get into the details of the updated 2015 KTM Duke 390, stay tuned with SAGMart.
