The Lamborghini mystery model has been revealed on the pre-launch evening of the event at Paris. It's of the same name as it was rumored, that is Lamborghini Asterion Hybrid super car, though it is 2-seater, not 4-seater as it was claimed. The full name of the car is Asterion LPI 910-4 which demonstrates follows:
Asterion – The name is based on an ancient Greek character Minotaur, which is half human and half bull.
LP – Longitudinal Posterior, means the engine is mid-mount.
I - I stand for Ibrido meaning Hybrid in English.
910 – The number 910 denotes the total power output of the car.
4 – The 4 mentions the all-wheel drive technology of the car.
Being a hybrid model, it has a 5.2 Litre V10 petrol engine and 3 electric motors producing 610hp and 300hp respectively. It can go for 50 KM drive on pure electric mode with combined electric-petrol and petrol mode as other options. It reaches 100 km/h mark from 0 in fix 3 seconds with 320 km/h as the top speed. The car drives the power thourgh its latest 7-speed DSG gearbox. The interior is made up of Aluminum, carbon fiber and Titanium along with standard Lamborghini super car features like GPS, 21 inch infotainment screen and others.
