Land Rover has teased luxury SUV lovers with red outline image of the 2019 Range Rover Evoque. The new Evoque, scheduled for a global launch on November 22, 2018, adding to its predecessor\'s good looks and power will inherit the legendary aura and legacy. Catapulting the fortunes of Land Rover to new heights, the SUV, since its launch, has recorded annual sales of 1,00,000 units on a YoY basis. And the 2019 Range Rover Evoque with increased fuel efficiency will be hoping to replicate the success and grandeur of the outgoing model.
Next-Gen Range Rover Evoque Updates
The second-gen Evoque gets a heavily reworked version of the retiring models D8 architecture with familiar Range Rover traits from the first-gen model. However, the overall dimensions of the SUV remain unaltered but styling will remind fans of the Velar with improved comfort and refinements borrowed from the Velar. Premium new additions include new touchscreens and pop-out door handles.

Both diesel and petrol trims will be on offer. Power duties on the trims will be performed by the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel, and petrol engines respectively. It is the same engine that powers the Range Rover’s Ingenium family. The diesel trims will have power output in the 148hp to 237hp range whereas the petrol trim petrol will have an output between 237hp and 296hp. Both trims will be mated to a 9-speed ZF gearbox. A hybrid engine variant may be on offer later.
In addition to this, the new Evoque will have improved CO2 emissions in line with the stringent emission norms. On India roads, the new Range Rover Evoque will lock horns with the likes of Mercedes GLC, Audi Q5, and Volvo XC60.
