Lotus C-01 Superbike, Consignment Begins

Lotus has commenced the deliveries of its latest C-01 Superbike. The motorcycle has taken more than 10 months to get into the production form. The Lotus C-01 Superbike is designed by Mr. Daniel Simon, the former Bugatti designer, who has been designing the world's most stylish and amazing super fast car. Mr. Daniel Simon first showcased the Superbike concept in the month of January, earlier this year. And, since then, the motorcycle was getting ready for the production line-up, which is limited to only 100 units. The designer had worked a lot to shape the gorgeous curves and cues and stylish bodywork of the motorcycle, which can be easily seen in the newly introduced Superbike.

Projecting lights over the mechanism of the Lotus C-01 Superbike, it is powered by a 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, 75-degree V-Twin configuration, carrying an engine displacement of 1195cc. The water-cooled engine is coupled to a 6-speed Jaw-type shift transmission. The 1195cc displaced engine is tuned to belt out a total power of 200 BHP. The motorcycle carries a fuel tank capacity of 10.5 liters and having a kerb weight of 181 KG.

The Lotus C-01 Superbike is built around Aero tech steel trellis frame and it is largely made-up of Titanium and carbon fiber. The carbon fiber body work just looks smashing and gives an amazing appearance to the motorcycle. The maker has started manufacturing this Superbike just 2 months back and they have nearly touched the production line, as it is limited to 100 units only.

About the customization of Lotus C-01 Superbike, the firm has said that the motorcycle is limited to the imagination of the client. The Lotus C-01 Superbike is the first and foremost motorcycle to be designed by the British manufacturer and it is priced at EUR 1,00,000 (Rs 77.38 Lacs).
