It was recent when the American auto major launched the India-made Ford Ka+ in the UK, and now the company has introduced the new ‘Black & White’ colour theme edition of the car for the same British market. Available in only top-end trim Ford Ka+ Zetec, this new B&W edition will go on sale by the year-end. The Ford Ka+ is manufactured at company’s Sanand facility in Gujarat, India, and will be exported to the several global markets including Europe and the UK.
The new edition of Ka+ features new black tone body colour along with the roof and exterior mirrors painted in white. Apart from this new colour theme, no changes have been made so far whether it is design or equipment.
Currently, the Ka+ is available for sale in the UK and are offered in two variants, Base and Zetec. Feature wise, the Zetec comes with a host of standard equipment including an SYNC-enabled Infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android connectivity, leather-wrapped steering with audio controls, Ford MyKey, Cruise Control and 15-inch alloy wheels.
However, there is also an optional package for the buyers which includes Electronic Automatic Climate Control (EATC), heated front seats with driver armrest, rear privacy glass, Spare wheel Kit and a City Pack - which gets rear parking sensor, rear power windows and heated power folding outside mirrors.
Beneath the front-end, both the variants feature the range topping 1.2-litre Duratec engine which is paired with 5-Speed manual transmission and capable of churning out the maximum power of 85 PS. Ford claimed fuel economy of the car is 20 kmpl. On CO2 emission, it emits CO2 of 114 g/km.
