The famous Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is still not done with the teasers for its upcoming TUV300. Recently, the company has uploaded an image on its Facebook page which seems like a sketch. It also contains a message inviting people to participate in a contest. The caption says, 'Are you tough enough to win the TUV300?' The teaser showcases the vehicle in the form of a boxy structure highlighting the “battle tank inspired” architecture. It resembles to SUVs like Hummer and Toyota F J Cruiser in terms of exterior shape and design. The booking procedure for this model will commence from tomorrow.
Even though, the company has been trying its best to keep the mini SUV under veils, it was spotted recently without any camouflage. These images have revealed each and every detail of the upcoming TUV300 much ahead of its official preview.
The most captivating feature is the grille which has been designed in the form of vertical slats below the company emblem. This grille is bordered by large headlamps on either side sweeping backwards. The front bumper houses wide air dams and the fog lamps get a box-like shape. Further, the bonnet is completely flat, wheel arches are U-shaped and the new platform enables the vehicle to weigh lighter than the Bolero model.
On the inside, the car will offer a seven-seat configuration and the black colored dashboard will receive silver accents on certain portions. There will also be a high-tech infotainment facility for the top ranging variants along with Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity. Moving on the mechanical aspect, the company has already confirmed about the use of mHawk80 unit that does duty on the Quanto. The engine will be powerful enough to offer great NVH levels and thus will be a fuel efficient vehicle.
The all new TUV300 is scheduled to arrive for sale in the showrooms by September, 10 at an anticipated price of INR 6.50- 8.50 Lacs, ex-showroom. The production will take place at company's plant located in Pune at Chakan.
