Back in March this year, Mahindra Two Wheelers has launched the Gusto 125 only in the southern states-Karnataka and Tamil Nadu of the country in its initial phase. Under a marketing strategy, the two-wheeler maker is now made the availability of its more powerful version of the Gusto scooter, at the dealerships across eight new states in India.
Mr. Vinod Sahay, Chief Operating Officer, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. said while sharing the journey of Mahindra Gusto, “Since its launch last year, Gusto has grown consistently and we are now excited about extending the Gusto brand into include new consumer segments. The all-new Mahindra Gusto 125 is bound to turn heads on roads in India as it is packed with a powerful 125 cc M-TEC engine with load sensing MCDi technology and stylish looks to match! We continue with Gusto’s innovative car-like features, like India’s only Height Adjustable Seat, that makes the new Mahindra Gusto 125 a complete, fully loaded scooter that is sure to delight consumers.”
Mahindra Gusto 125 comes in two variant option of VX and DX. The VX trim holds the retail price of Rs 52,410 and the DX model priced at Rs 40,410 which is around Rs. 12,000 less expensive than the VX version. Both the price are applicable at the Delhi dealerships.
The boasted more powerful 125 cc M-TEC engine is capable of delivering the power of 8.7PS and torque of 10Nm through a CVT gearbox. Manufactured at company’s R&D center in Pune, the engine fitted with MCDi technology which offers the facility of auto adjusting ignition timing to reduce stress on the engine while climbing on the slope or in the messy traffic situations.
Runs on the 12-inch tubeless tyres wrapped wheels, the Gusto 125 has the telescopic front forks and a rear mono shock for suspension and drum brake featuring on to the both variants.

Aesthetically, the Gusto 125 VX seems loaded with some exciting features like height adjustable seat, distinct features of remote flip key, height adjustable seat, easy front kick, find me-lamps and guide lamps, etc. The noted thing is Mahindra Gusto is the first Indian scooter facilitating height adjustable seat. Globally, it is likely to be launch soon in some Asian and Central American countries. The Mahindra Gusto 125 gets four color shades of Bolt White, Orange Rush, Regal Red and Monarch Black for the audience.
