Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has a beast under its shade, which everyone clearly has an idea, namely Bolero. Yes! This power packed machine is ruling from many years into the segment of SUV and has been offering a great power and service in its own latitude.
Now, the M&M has re-created the Bolero by advancing it various features and performance while on the other hand decreasing its price value. This new Bolero Power+ is tagged at INR 6.59 Lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) which is around one lakh cheaper from its regular variant Bolero which is priced at INR 7.59 Lakh.
The new Bolero Power+ has a new 1,493cc, 1.5-litre diesel engine dubbed mHawkD70, which is a three-cylinder unit that delivers 71hp at 3,600rpm and 195Nm of torque at 1,400-2,200rpm, and is engaged to a five-speed manual. The regular variant Bolero occupies 2.5-litre on the other hand engine delivers 63hp and 195Nm of torque.

Talking about the dimensions, Bolero Power+ is 3,995mm long, 1,745mm wide and 1,880mm high and the width and height are the same as the standard Bolero but shorter by 112mm. It is fuel efficient at 16.5kpl compared to the Bolero 2.5’s 15.96kpl.
The interior dimension is same making the cabin space same with the regular Bolero. Bolero Power+ is available in a seven- seat configuration with opposite facing jump seats in the third row. There is three version with Bolero Power+. the top-spec ZLX getting techs like Mahindra’s Micro Hybrid system, an audio player with Bluetooth/USB/AUX/CD, body-coloured wing mirrors, rear washer, and wiper. While the other warranty offer is three-year/ one lakh km warranty on the Bolero Power+.
Mahindra has planned to launch four sub-4-meter SUVs within one year for recovering the market, while the decline in sales is also expected to be lifted with this cheaper Bolero edition.
