The engine as well as the car will be manufactured at company's Chakan plant. The mechanical configuration includes a 1.2 litre diesel unit, capable of returning 22-23 km/l of mileage, whereas the 1.2 litre petrol motor is good enough for 18-19 km/l of fuel economy. Transmission will be handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox along with an optional AMT unit.
