The Mahindra Quanto has been caught again with camouflage body in the busy traffic of the Nashik city. The test mule has already been captured several times in the camera during the testing. And, now, keeping an eye on the festive season, the company might introduce the Quanto facelift during the upcoming festive season. Moreover, it is expected that the new car will share design and body cues from the Mahindra Genio that was recently spotted a few days back. Mahindra & Mahindra will be blessed the Quanto with new striking interior and exterior design to make it stand apart from the crowd in this segment.

As per the latest spy shot, the rear section of new Mahindra Quanto appears to be very identical to its outgoing model as the rear section is featured with tailgate mounted spare wheel, windscreen along with rear wiper and footboard. Furthermore, the mystery behind the name has not been solved yet, whereas, the company seems tight-lipped about the name of the new car, but some reports are suggested that new car might be christened as the Mahindra Canto.

It is one of the most capable compact SUVs in this segment which is known for its performance. Mechanically, the engine of the new Quanto will remain untouched and will continue powering with the 1.5-liter three-cylinder diesel engine compartment from the current running model that produces 100 BHP of power and 240 Nm of torque. The engine unit will be mated to an automated manual transmission (AMT). The new Quanto will be priced between INR 6.5 to 8 lakh in the automobile market.
