Mahindra seems to be enjoying all the attention it is getting for the upcoming TUV300 lately. Its style and design have become “talk of the town” and the company is adopting brilliant ways of promoting the Sub-4m SUV. First it came with a sketch, then a portion of its exterior was teased followed by the steering wheel image. Now, the automaker has released a smashing video revealing the front end of the model. This clip starts with a giant gate zooming in and all of a sudden the TUV300 breaks out of it displaying a short glimpse of its front portion.
This is a unique utility vehicle that carries a boxy design that will be appreciated by the hard core SUV fans. As per the spied images, it sports a different grille muck like the one featured in Jeep models in a vertical pattern with chrome finishing. Other important highlights include sweptback headlights, square shaped fog lamps, etc. It stands on 15-inch alloys and will offer a spacious cabin with seven-seat configuration.
Coming to the mechanical part, the new mHawk 80 diesel motor will be the source of power for this model. It has been developed from an older version of the engine found in Mahindra Quanto comprising 1.5 litre, 3-cylinder unit. For transmission, a five-speed manual gearbox will handle the power along with an optional AMT unit that has been found in the spied pictures.
This new sub-4m vehicle is going to be launched on 10th of September and the company has already started accepting bookings at the token amount of INR 20,000. It is anticipated to be available with three variants across the lineup.
