The long due launch of the Mahindra TUV300 Plus has finally taken place. The 2.2-litre diesel engine powered offering claims 120hp at 280 Nm of torque. Christened as the mHawk120, the Mahindra TUV300 has been reportedly on sale for more than six months. An elongated version of the TUV300 sub-four-meter compact SUV, it comes with a price tag of Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The rear has been reworked to give it a more unique appeal.

In place of the standard five-speed unit, the engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The TUV with a 60-liter fuel tank has a kerb weight of 2,410kg. The TUV300 rests on 215/70R16 tires shod with steel wheels. Mahindra’s fuel-saving Micro Hybrid tech comes as optional though. The TUV300 gets bulkier and longer by 401mm. It borrows other dimensions from the standard model. The 2,680mm wheelbase draws parallels with that of the sub-four-meter version.
On the safety front, the sturdy TUV300 comes equipped with an Engine Immobilizer, child locks, and side intrusion beams. The Mahindra TUV300 lovers will have four exterior color variants to choose from. At the moment there is only one variant on offer with plans for two more variants in the pipeline.
