Mahindra unveiled the long term tested Gusto scooter Globally

Out of the two most awaited products from Mahindra two wheelers, the Gusto scooter has landed over the Indian surface and it will be housing the forth position in the scooter lineup of the manufacturer. Not being so attractive in looks, the vehicle manages well in all ranges of the user’s primary expectations. Mahindra has priced the Gusto wisely at Rs. 43,000 for the DX variant and Rs. 47,000 for the VX variant. The beauty concerning issues of the same are good and attractive, but it could be a worrying situation seeing the competition. In early days of rumors, the Gusto was code named at G101, which scaled its original name few days back.

The Mahindra Gusto is powered by a 109.7cc air-cooled M-TEC Aluminium engine, mated to an automatic CVT gear box, which churns out 8 BHP of power at 8400 RPM generating maximum torque of 8.5Nm at 7000 RPM. The specifications sound similar to most of the vehicles currently wandering in the streets. The word Gusto is the replica of freedom and thus the company has assigned it so because they will make it reach the other parts of the globe as well, including South Asia, Africa and Latin America.

The scooter looks quite taller from an angle. The front fraction is designed in a straight forward manner and no symbols of the show off are visible anywhere. The mechanical equipments for this vehicle are freshly designed and house a better built crank, engine coil, regulators etc. The suspension housing places a telescopic one to the front while rear will rest over monoshock unit. The tubeless tyres will be muffled 12 inch rims while making space for a 130mm drum brakes. The variants available for this new comer will be DX and VX. The points to distinguish in them include seat height adjustment and battery capacity terms.  The ARAI tested mileage attained by the Gusto is 63KMPL, but it might fluctuate with real world riding habits.
