Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the CNG version of its first multi purpose vehicle Ertiga. It is a 7 seater car which will be available in LXi, VXi and CNG versions. You will have to pay Rs.30000 more to buy the CNG variant of the car.
It has become the most selling MPV with sale of 6000 cars till now. Ertiga is being liked by the customers instead of other MPV vehicles. Maruti has decided to launch its CNG version after getting tough competition from Mahindra Quanto and Renault Duster. Right now petrol and diesel version of Ertiga is available in the market and after CNG version it will become the second car of the company which is available in three fuel options.
Ertiga is going to be the first MPV CNG, as any MPV vehicle does not have CNG version in the market. Maruti is planning to launch its automatic version for Indonesian market. It is a fuel efficient car which needs low maintenance. The petrol version gives 16kmpl mileage while diesel version gives 20kmpl mileage. It has 5-speed manual transmission, multi information display, USB support and advanced audio system.
Now Ertiga is launching in CNG version so it is going to be more in demand.
