Earlier, we informed you that Maruti Ertiga facelift version is going to be launched on October 10, 2015 and now as the model is nearing its launch, another report has broke out. According to this recent development, the upcoming car is going to be equipped with a four-speed automatic gearbox. The same transmission facility is being offered in the petrol trims of Dzire, Ciaz and Ritz. The automaker has already revealed the MUV at GIIAS, which was held recently in Indonesia. It is almost anticipated that a hybrid version will also be offered in the lineup like Ciaz SHVS.

Several changes have been made to the external portion that include a three-slat chrome grille, re-designed bumper and refreshed fog lamps with chrome accents. Talking about the rear end, it gets newly designed tail lights, chrome strip above the number plate, as well as rear parking sensors. The side profile has not been changed at all. Inside the Ertiga, there is a dual tone dashboard, automatically adjustable ORVMs, leather upholstery, new floor mats, start/stop button, etc.

Talking about the mechanical portion, it will be offered in both diesel and petrol variants. The former will be fitted with a 1.3 litre DDiS motor while the latter will be housing a 1.4 litre K-Series engine. It is believed that only the VXi variant will be rolled out initially. Later, if the demand grows, a ZXi trim would also be introduced in the lineup, which will cost INR 60,000 more than the previous one.
