The 2018 Ertiga test mule spied in shots with a 6-speed manual transmission option. The sec-gen Ertiga is likely to come in August 2018 in diesel and petrol engine guises. As per the reports, the MPV diesel variant will get new 1.5 L engine manufactured in-house by Suzuki. The previous 1.3 L Fiat-sourced Multijet diesel engine will be carried out in a phased manner till 2020 with the introduction of BSVI emissions regulations. The new engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission.
To give company to the new diesel engine, you will get a new 1.5 L K15B petrol motor as well. The Suzuki Indonesia model is able to produce an output of 104.7 PS and 138 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual. The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga is debuted during IIMS 2018 on April 19 in Indonesia and a few days after production started. The 2018 Ertiga measures 395 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,690 mm in height and bigger than the previous model.

The cabin space is increased and accommodated with some new premium features. The spy shot shows that it will come with automatic climate control. The current equipment list may not include this features. The October 2017 report suggests that the 2018 Maruti Ertiga sale may move to Nexa outlets concerning the premium offerings from the company.
The existing Maruti Ertiga is available in the price range of Rs. 6.34-10.69 lakhs bracket. The prices of the top-end Z and Z+ variants are expected to go high. The new 2018 Maruti Ertiga will be available with a price tag of Rs. 7-11 lakhs.
Maruti Suzuki India recently revised the Ertiga Limited Edition which seems to favor the stock clearance exercise. The 2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT and the 2018 Maruti Swift launched by the company this year. The new Ertiga launch will be followed by the new-gen Maruti Wagon R. The Maruti Ciaz facelift is likely to reach in October this year.
