Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav Edition Launched at INR 3.94 Lakhs

India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has inserted a special edition model of its entry-level hatchback, the Alto 800 Utsav Edition in its existing lineup, in order to generate volume in whooping figures this Diwali.

If the differences on this Ustav Edition is concerned with the regular model, as always the car gets subtle changes as the cosmetic front and a few added feature for this limited edition. While it has been so long when the Alto 800 received major upgrades. On the pricing aspect, based on the VXi variant, the Utsav edition is on sale at Rs 3.94 lakhs with a premium of Rs 20,000 over the regular model which is priced at Rs 3.74 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new integration which you will see in this special Alto 800 Utsav Edition include new decals along with another features-new seat cover, reverse parking sensors, ORVM cover garnish and door seal guard. Besides this mentioned accessory kit, the automaker is also offering the discount of up to ₹ 25,000 with additional exchange bonus on festive offer.

Mechanically, there is nothing new with this Utsav Edition Alto 800. It is loaded with the similar 0.8-litre petrol engine as a propelling heart. The mill in integration with a five-speed manual transmission is capable of producing 48 bhp of power at 6000rpm and 69Nm of peak torque at 3500rpm. Other than this, a CNG option for this entry-level vehicle is also available to choose that churns out 40bhp of power.

In the segment, the Alto 800 went in a fierce competition with the opponents such as the Renault Kwid and the Hyundai Eon in India.
