Maruti Suzuki Launches A Special Edition Of Dzire At Rs 5.56 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has today announced a special edition of the new Dzire 2018 with a starting price of Rs 5.56 lakh. The Dzire special edition is said to have been “enhanced with premium features to make you feel special”. It will be available in both diesel and petrol engine variants. The new edition is inspired by the LXi/LDi models of the standard Dzire car.

The exterior changes in the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Dzire special edition include front power windows and elegant wheel cover. The car also gets reverse parking sensors.

The interior of the Dzire special edition has been upgraded with a two-speaker Bluetooth music system along with remote central locking.

The Maruti Dzire special edition launch may be inspired by the recent launch of Etios Liva Dual Tone Limited Edition by Toyota.

The new Suzuki Dzire continues to have the standard equipment and features of the LXi/LDi models, including brake assist, dual front airbags and ABS. With the launch, the Maruti Suzuki desires to take on the likes of the new Honda Amaze, the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Xcent and the VW Ameo.

The special edition variant, which has all the features of the basic Dzire and some more, has been introduced with the aim to increase sales of lower variants of the car to attract buyers who want an affordable sedan with added equipment.

The special edition Dzire price for the petrol variant is Rs 5.56 lakh. The Dzire special edition diesel variant costs around 6.56 lakh, which is about Rs 30,000 more than the price of the standard LXi/LDi models.
