The giant Indo-Japanese auto manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has postponed the India launch of its compact crossover, Ignis til the next year. The Ignis was supposed to be launched during this ongoing festive season, but due to the growing demand of the compact SUV Vitara Brezza and hot hatch Baleno, the manufacturing facility are running out of the bottleneck and the production of this sub 4-meter crossover has to be put on hold.
However, the Gujarat-based upcoming manufacturing plant will ensure the production and delivery of yet-to-be-launched Ignis before the end of fiscal year. This facility will be a global hub and also full-fill the demand of Ignis in other global markets as well.
