Maruti Suzuki Launched Celerio ZXI with AMT in India

Until now, the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) for the Maruti Suzuki Celerio was only available in its LXI and VXI variants, which were rolled out last year at the Auto Expo, but the top end version was acquainted including manual gearbox that played somehow an apathetic role among Indians. Responding towards the Interest of the customers, Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the Celerio's high end variant along with AMT technology in India around the price of INR 4.99 Lac. Its bookings have also been commenced, while the delivery will be commenced within 8 to 10 days.

This newly launched model borrows the features and engine from its regular manual trims with steering mounted audio controls, stereo system, including FM, CD, Bluetooth, AUX-in and USB connectivity options. Moreover the driver side airbags as well as the front seat pockets are also identical to the base variants. Beneath the skin, it continues the same 1.0 litre k series petrol mill as its base ones producing power of 67 bhp at 6,000 rpm and torque of 90 Nm at 3,500 rpm. However, this powertrain now comes paired to an AMT transmission and capable of covering 23 km distance in just 1 litre of fuel consumption.

As it's well known that this time, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio ZXI AMT model receives more expensive price as compared to the predecessor, and in spite of it, the company is likely to draw a big crowd of the masses.
