Maruti Suzuki Launched MS Dhoni Inspired Special Edition Alto

Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition of its entry-level hatch -Alto on Saturday. The special edition of the Alto small cars- the Alto 800 and Alto K10 have been unveiled in association with the makers of the upcoming movie ‘M S Dhoni-The Untold Story’ in the presence of M S Dhoni himself and Maruti Suzuki’s executive director, R S Kalsi at an event in Hyderabad.

On being Happy with this association, Mr R S Kalsi expressed his joy and said, "MS Dhoni with his determination, successful leadership and hard work has achieved iconic stature. Maruti Suzuki Alto too is India's most loved car and an icon amongst automobiles. Alto appeals to customers for its design, performance, high fuel efficiency and affordable cost.Alto and MS Dhoni share great synergy for their unique qualities. This association will help to connect Alto even stronger with the customers."

If alterations are considered on these special edition cars, the Alto trims have only witnessed customization at the cosmetic level and mechanicals are not being modified. Featuring the new special edition Alto are the M S Dhoni signature decals and body graphics on the exterior. While, inside the cabin, the car is adorned by Dhoni inspired number 7 stitched on the seat covers and improved music system with AUX and USB connectivity, reverse parking sensor and a bar graph display are also offered as advance features.

Offered in two interior colors of Black with Silver and Red with Blue, these special edition cars- the Alto(Lxi) and the Alto K10(Lxi, Vxi) will be charged extra for INR 16,777 and INR 12,777 respectively, owing to these add-on features. And as per the company officials, these new special edition models will hit the dealership sometime in the first week of October.
