The next in the line of Maruti Suzuki cars to get a special limited edition for the festival season is the popular Baleno premium hatchback. The company has announced that it will soon start selling the limited edition Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the Indian market. Maruti has already launched limited editions of its Swift and Ignis models earlier this month, in the spirit of the festive season.
Similar to the ongoing trend, the limited edition of the Baleno has been simply modified with a few cosmetic changes over the standard model. The exterior of the car has been modified into a contrast grey colour body with side moulding and front, side and rear skirts.

The interior of the limited edition Baleno has been customized with new dual-tone quilted-designed seat covers, 3D floor mats, a smart key finder, illuminated scuff plates and cushion.
However, the limited model will continue to get its power from the same dual engines comprising a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel motor. As for the mechanics of the car, no major changes have been made.

As the name suggests, it is a limited model and will be sold only during the festive season in the country. As for the price, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno limited edition is expected to cost around Rs 35,000 over the price of the standard model. The company has not yet revealed the price details of the limited edition models of the Baleno and Ignis, both of which are Nexa cars. However, the Swift limited edition costs the same as the base LXi/LDi models of the car.
