The Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes India, Eberhard Kern has finally made the confirmation in a press release that its AMG GT will start running on the Indian ways from this ongoing year. Yes, the other performance oriented luxury 2 door sports cars, such as Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type should be geared up to take a dreadful impedance from this upcoming model. The strategy behind launching the AMG GT is to fill the space left by the SLS AMG.
It will get the brand's latest design philosophy inspired by the Vision Gran Turismo Concept and will be lighter as well as stiffer than the SLS AMG in order to confer an amazing handling. Mr. Kern said, “With some of the most awaited products in the pipeline for the remaining two quarters, including the much awaited AMG GT, Mercedes-Benz is all set for another year of strong growth.”
