2019 will see Mercedes-Benz introduce a host of exciting models. The first in the line is the V-class MPV slated for January 24, 2019 launch. But just before 2018 ends, the German automaker sans any pomp and show has launched a petrol cum mild-hybrid version of its recently-revised C-class sedan. Mercedes-Benz calls the new C-class sedan variant ‘C 200 Progressive’. Christened as the C 200 Progressive, the new offering with a Rs 43.46 lakh price tag fits in as the new mid-spec trim in Mercedes-Benz’s impressive range of C-class models.

Both variants will be based on a single diesel engine tuned to deliver 194hp in the C 220d and 245hp in the C 300d. The mild-hybrid variant, however, comes powered with an all-new 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine coupled with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The current C-class lineup includes the likes of C 300 Cabriolet (Rs 65.25 lakh), C 300d (Rs 48.50 lakh) C 220d Progressive (Rs 44.25 lakh) and C 220d Prime (Rs 40.00 lakh).
