The Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 is scheduled to be launched in the country by the end of this year. As of now, the automaker has imported the luxury saloon to the Indian shores for homologation. This two-door convertible is said to be the replacement for the SLK 55 AMG model.
Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 comes powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine that pumps out 367bhp of power and 520Nm of peak torque. This powermill comes mated to the automaker's 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The 0-100kmph sprint is carried out in just 4.7seconds and it is capable of achieving a limited top-speed of up to 250kmph.
The SLC name represents the new nomenclature of the brand and it's just a facelift version of the existing model. The added features are based on the present inline of the Mercedes-Benz cars.
The Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 is expected to replace the SLK roadster, which was a renowned luxury convertible in its time. As far as the Indian market is concerned, the automaker will launch the model by the end of this year via CBU route.
