Mercedes-Benz to Launch Lower Priced GLA Crossover Soon

If we call this year of the Indian car market as Mercedes-Benz year, then I guess most us won't get surprised with the statement. It's because the company has managed to launch a bunch of vehicles and still doing the very same with its upcoming plans. This time Mercedes-Benz is planning to launch the toned down version of its last year launched GLA crossover. The car was introduced to the world in 2013 at the Shanghai Motor Show and will be launched in India during the festive season of October.

Mercedes-Benz GLA Crossover 

The new Mercedes-Benz GLA is the fourth car based on the company's famous MFA, that is Modular Front Architecture (MFA) with the aggressive design. The car will come with the features like bi-Nexon lights, LED DRLs, front and rear parking sensors, active parking assist, airbags, navigation system, dual-zone climate control, reversing camera and 6-speaker audio system as well. Mechanically, the car will feature 1.6 Litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that will produce 156 bhp power and 250 Nm torque. And, the diesel variant will have the 2.2 Litre powerhouse, which will produce 135 bhp power and 300 Nm of torque. But, both the variants will have the 7-speed dual clutch transmission system.

Mercedes-Benz GLA Crossover 

The Mercedes-Benz will definitely put a good show against the cars like BMW X1 and Audi Q3. The price of the car is around INR 30 Lac and it'll be launched in the month of October which will be the mid festive season in India and the sales of the car will surely boom at that time.
