The BMW owned hatchback car company Mini has finally came to India last year via CBU route and has received huge appreciation from the customers. Now, there are speculations that the company is launching the Cooper S version by the end of the March. The car will be available in 3-Door version as it's in international market. The car has many features to talk about while launched in India and the 5-Door versions were also appreciated by the audience very much. But, the only thing that is hurting the company sales is the high price range that too because of the CBU route and for now, the company has no plans to build this car in India.
Coming to the Cooper S, it has been powered by a 2.0 Litre engine in the international market and the same could be launched in India as well with the 189 hp power and 279 Nm torque and a 6-speed automatic transmission system.
Talking about price, this Cooper S version will be placed a bit above than the Cooper D which has the starting price of INR 32.64 Lac Ex-Showroom. However, the price high will not be more than 10% as we have received the news. Well, let's just wait for the March end and rest things will be cleared.
