MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR LH44, a special edition model has been rolled out by the Italian manufacturer. Developed in partnership with the F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, this distinct motorcycle will be provided in a limited count of 144 units for the global markets. And each bike carries its production number on the visor.
The motorcycle is inspired from the standard Brutale 800 RR yet the presence of a host of unique features made its an exclusive offering. These exclusive bits are carbon fibre, aluminium billet, clutch cover guard, fluid reservoir cap, tank cap, alternator guard, CNC machined components like the clutch and brake levers and
engine oil filler cap.
The factor that differentiates this special edition LH44 model from the standard Brutale 800 RR is applied paint job. It comes painted in unique colour choices of black, red and white. While the most appealing bit of the motorcycle the triple-exhaust pipes gets black coat finish. Furthermore, there are black graphics job and Lewis Hamilton’s logo and his race number, 44.
As compared to the standard bike, the Brutale 800 RR LH44 is 3kgs lighter with 169 kgs weight. It is powered by shared 798cc, inline-three cylinder engine from the standard model. Mated to a six-speed gearbox and quickshifter, the engine churns out 140bhp and 86 Nm of torque.
Earlier than this, both these popular name has gone under collaboration to develop models like the Dragster 800 LH44 and F4 LH44. Post Brutale 800 RR LH44, the models like the F3 and the Turismo Veloce could also see such special treatment. However, the price for the bike in question has not been revealed officially yet. Whereas, it will hit the production line by June 2018. The motorcycle’s sale in the global market is likely to commence later this year. While the Indian market is not going to see this special edition Brutale 800 RR LH44 anytime soon.
