New 2017 Honda CD 110 Dream with BS-IV Engine, launched at Rs 45,002

Honda India has updated and launched its most affordable commuter motorcycle, the 2017 CD 110 Dream with BS-IV compliant engine. The standard kick-start model of the same will be priced at Rs 45,002, whereas, the top end electric start trim with a tail rack will set you back at Rs 47,494. The prices of both the model are exclusively applicable at Delhi dealerships.

The CD 110 Dream is an entry-level motorcycle from Honda stable that is focused to generate volume sales for the company. To continue this journey with a boost, the bike maker also added some extra, apart from BS-IV engine, such as Auto Headlamp On (AHO) features and new paints schemes and decals, to allure the wide range of audience. Honda CD 110 Dream model’s new colour options comprises black/red, black/green, black/blue and black/grey paint schemes.

The CD 110 Dream is loaded with similar a 110cc single-cylinder engine of the predecessor. The mill is responsible of generating maximum power of 8.25bhp at 7,500 revolutions per minute along with 8.63Nm of peak torque at 5,000 revolutions per minute. The engine is armed with a four-speed gearbox to transmit all the produced power to the rear wheel via chain drive. As claimed, this 109 kgs motorcycle can easily touch the top speed of 86 kms per hour.

The really important suspension duties on the motorcycle will be taken care by the telescopic front forks and rear placed spring loaded twin hydraulic shocks. Where braking for the 2017 CD 110 comes from the drum brake setup at both wheels.

With a maintenance free battery, electric start, utility box, alloy wheels and tubeless tyres, the new CD 110 Dream will is more than an adequate bike for a common man. In terms of rivalry, the BS-IV compliant CD 110 Dream will go head to head with the competitors such as Hero Splendor Plus, TVS Star City Plus and the Bajaj Platina in the segment.
