Audi has brought its upcoming A4 into the light before embarking it at the Frankfurt Motor Show in this ongoing year. The manufacturer is offering an awesome drag co-efficient of 0.23 making it one of the best aerodynamic cars in its league. The visible details are showing that the runabout gets a stunning front fascia with a new singleframe grille and Matrix LED or optional LED headlights alongside dynamic turn signals. Despite having increased length and wheelbase than the outgoing model at 4.73 metres and 2,82 metres, respectively, its weight has been reduced by 120 kg via an intelligent material mix and lightweight construction.
Coming to the equipments, it receives a latest MMI touch interface, including 8.3 inch screen, brand's Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster with 12.3 inch LCD, a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, a smartphone interface, an Audi phone box comprising wireless charging and a Head up display.
Beneath the skin, the next generation Audi A4 is powered by a four cylinder TFSI engines, four cylinder TDI oil burners and the top end six cylinder TDI diesel mills producing an amazing power of 272 hp. Notably, its fuel consumption has also been developed by 21 percent.
Three transmission options will be available, such as a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed S-Tronic and an 8-speed tiptronic units. The second one will also be found on the front wheel drive versions and the Quattro AWD system will be on offer as an optional feature for all the trims. Its Indian launch could be possible by the first half of next year and will undergo production at the Audi's Aurangabad plant.
