Mercedes-Benz, a German automaker posted some details about the upcoming model, new G-Class, before the launch which is going to take place on January 15, 2018, at the Detroit Motor Show. In this advanced world of internet, hardly any model stays away from the light of being spied and the official picture leak of new G-class favors the same.
Interestingly, the SUV seems similar to a G-Class variant. It was already known that the G-class won\'t compromise with its boxy silhouette looks as it makes a more vibrant appearance in mentioning G-Class. A similar instance can be taken from Jeep Wrangler where the 4th generation and new variant does not modify its appearance although changed some other specs as well.
Although, apart from the leak, some details are also revealed by the company itself mentioning a relatively rugged body-on-frame construction like before.

It also comes handy with 9G-Tronic automatic transmission superseding the previous model’s 7-speed unit. The new transmission has enhanced the driveability and fuel consumption capability as well.
